This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, budgeting and forecasting, and providing strategic financial insights that support operational excellence and profitability. The ideal candidate brings deep manufacturing finance experience, strong leadership capability, and the ability to partner closely with plant and corporate leadership in a fast-paced, multinational environment.key responsibilities financial oversight lead all plant-level accounting operations including job costing, inventory, general ledger, and financial reporting. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (us gaap / ifrs). Budgeting & forecasting own plant budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with operations and functional leaders. Analyze financial performance, prepare variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions. Financial analysis & reporting prepare and present financial results, kpis, and business insights to plant and corporate leadership. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support capital investment analysis and roi evaluations. Compliance & audit ensure compliance with local mexico tax, labor, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and support internal and external audits. Serve as key financial liaison with auditors and external advisors. Operational partnership act as a strategic business partner to plant leadership. Support production, supply chain, and engineering teams with financial insights. Drive profitability, cost control, and operational discipline.key qualifications bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (master's preferred). 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. 5+ years in a leadership or plant-level finance role. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing finance. Experience with erp systems and advanced excel. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment. Bilingual english/spanish strongly preferred.preferred experience experience supporting multinational manufacturing operations. Knowledge of mexico accounting standards, tax, and regulatory compliance. Experience driving process improvement and standardization.
