your role at zegna
as senior public relations coordinator - luxury, fashion brand department: marketing, based in mexico city, mexico, you will bring your unique strengths to the marketing team in amplifying and supporting the brand’s voice through media, talent, and cultural moments. Reporting directly to the head of marketing & cvm latam, you will assist in the execution of public relations efforts for our brand in latam, helping us having a celebrity & talent engagement, making community & cultural relations, and being a support in assisting, planning and executing events. You’ll work closely with marketing, retail, and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels to drive meaningful results and shape the way we work and grow.

agency & media coordination
* acts as the day-to-day contact with pr agencies to execute campaigns, product placements, press releases, and media outreach.
* coordinates sample deliveries, media requests from stores, and is present at media shoots paid by zegna.
* shares key highlights and visual assets from marketing summits.
* collaborates on pr calendars and community editorial planning.
* ensures agencies understand the brand's dna, tone of voice, and positioning, including seasonal training.
* aligns on media outreach strategies, pitching angles, and paid partnerships from hq.
* oversees both local and international shipments for editorials and vips, working with logistics for documentation and returns.
* leads gifting/seeding programs for media, influencers, and vips—including list building, logistics, wrapping, and seasonal gifting initiatives.
celebrity & talent engagement
* works with pr agencies (mexico and brazil) to secure celebrity placements for red carpets, editorials, awards, and events.
* approves talent partnerships and gifting strategies to ensure brand alignment.
* manages logistics for celebrity participation in global events (travel, contracts, accommodation).
* oversees store loans and gifting for dressing needs.
* maintains an updated database of talent, stylists, and managers, including birthdays and milestones; supports personal relationship building.
* coordinates mtm fittings and sample requests, being present at fittings when required.
community & cultural relations
* supports community-based initiatives and collaborations with cultural figures and institutions (art, music, gastronomy, fashion, etc.).
* follows up on strategies like art basel and global seeding programs.
* helps organize intimate brand experiences and community activations.
* tracks cultural trends to find relevant opportunities for brand presence.
* shares brand marketing guidelines with franchisees (argentina, panama, chile, guatemala), ensuring content is reviewed and approved each season.
* works with marketing partners (e.g., iguatemi, palacio de hierro) to align on content and branding opportunities.
event support
* assists in planning and execution of pr events and press days for media, community, and celebrity guests.
* supports store opening strategies involving talents.
* suggests key venues for meals, cocktails, and gatherings with press and celebrities.
* coordinates guest agendas for global brand events (media, community, celebrities).
cross-functional collaboration
* works closely with marketing, retail, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging.
* collaborates with cvm and consumer engagement teams to identify community-driven client acquisition opportunities.
reporting & monitoring
* tracks media coverage, celebrity placements, and influencer mentions.
* compiles weekly and monthly pr reports with insights for latam markets.
* maintains updated media and talent databases.
* analyzes quarterly performance of pr agencies in mexico and brazil against global strategy.
* measures media impact: impressions, sentiment, and roi.
budget & administration
* manages agency budgets and fees in alignment with the head of marketing.
* approves expenses and ensures cost efficiency versus planned budgets.
who you are

* you bring 3-5 years of experience in pr, ideally within luxury fashion or lifestyle.
* you’re skilled in microsoft office, media monitoring tools, and sample tracking systems.
* you’re known for strong understanding of fashion media, celebrity culture, and community engagement, excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail, and it shows in how you work with others.
* you thrive when you show your passion for luxury fashion and cultural storytelling.
* you communicate fluently in english and having brazilian potuguese as an additional language is a plus and feel confident working in diverse teams.
