Virtual assistant – snack distributor outreach

about the role
we are looking for a proactive and organized virtual assistant to support our sales expansion in the snack distribution sector. The main responsibility will be to reach out to independent grocery stores, convenience stores, gas stations, distributors, and specialty shops to introduce our snack products, schedule follow-ups, and support the sales pipeline.
key responsibilities
* conduct outreach to potential retailers, distributors, and wholesale partners via email, phone, linkedin, and social media.
* present product samples, pricing, wholesale programs, and catalog information professionally.
* schedule product tastings, demos, and follow-up sales calls for the sales team.
* manage sample shipments: address confirmation, tracking, and follow-up to assess interest.
* create weekly outreach reports (contact lists, responses, conversions, next steps).
* update and maintain lead databases with accurate and current information.
* assist in preparing wholesale decks, product sheets, and email templates.
* follow up with stores that received samples to collect feedback and close deals.
* monitor inventory levels for sample kits and coordinate restocking.
required skills & qualifications
* strong communication skills (written & verbal) in english; bilingual is a plus.
* experience with b2b outreach or virtual assistant roles preferred.
* ability to handle high-volume outreach with professionalism and persistence.
* strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working remotely.
* knowledge of the snack / cpg / grocery retail market is an advantage.
