coordinate comprehensive issue management with key stakeholders.
drive issue quality reviews and ensure compliance with issue management policy, standards and procedures.
facilitate business/function quality control engagement throughout the lifecycle of high impact issue remediations.
maintain a robust tracking and reporting issue inventory, including quality metrics and timely escalation of concerns.
implement sustainable solutions by addressing root causes.
utilize analytics to assess remediation trends, identify risks, and develop process improvement insights.
identify and analyze potential control gaps and operational risks across citi, recommending proactive mitigation strategies.
support stakeholders in developing corrective action plans to address identified gaps or failures.
integrate lessons-learned guidance into corrective action plans, promoting continuous improvement and timely closure.
ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
build partnerships with internal audit, business units and senior management to drive issue resolution and promote a culture of risk awareness.
assess risk in business decisions, safeguard the firm's reputation and promote ethical judgment and transparency in reporting.
supervise team activities and establish accountability.
qualifications
minimum of 5-8 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit or related control functions in financial services.
strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
ability to identify, measure and manage key risks and controls.
proven experience in implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes.
in-depth knowledge of compliance laws, regulations and best practices.
understanding of citi's policies, standards and procedures.
strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage senior management.
proficiency in microsoft office suite, especially excel, powerpoint and word.
education
bachelor's or university degree (or equivalent experience).
