this position is responsible to facilitate the daily workforce performance, coordinate production activities with supporting groups to ensure production objectives. Supervise the shipping and receiving of all freight into and out of plant. Ensure customer satisfaction with the service provides as regards delivery time.
job responsibilities

* conduct weekly department meetings with associates regarding communications, department and plant concerns, and policy interpretation.

* initiate and coordinate assistance, as required from support departments.
* coordinate daily shipping schedules with materials planning (documents, packaging)
* monitor machinery, equipment and facility and initiate maintenance work orders as required, to ensure efficient, effective and safe working conditions.
* promotes continuous improvement and promotes standardization across the plant and organization.
* provides the best manufacturing solutions for the production process by benchmarking inside and outside the company and by selecting the adequate machinery, equipment and technology available in the market.
* implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area.
* promotes the company’s mission and vision by actively supporting eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.

qualifications
education level required
* engineering degree or related fields required.
years and area of experience required
* 3 – 5 years experience in manufacturing processes (environment preferably automotive)
technical knowledge
* iso 9000-2000, iso 14001, management systems, participate in and demonstrate positive attitude towards cop’s, rie, value stream mapping and other continuous improvement activities, health and safety programs
* lean manufacturing certification
* molding process experience
