position overview
we are searching for the best talent for the sr medical manager immunology & specialty care – medical head to be based in mexico city, mexico.
responsibilities
* managing other managers, supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations.
* direct activities for medical affairs and medical information teams.
* communicate direction for the creation of materials and content used in scientific communications.
* develop policies and procedures for external stakeholder management, scientific communications, evidence generation, publications, and medical education activities.
* facilitate clinical studies and investigator-initiated research.
* maintain in-depth knowledge of professional information and technology through conferences and/or medical literature and act as a resource for the team.
* responsible for managing operational aspects of the team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.
* integrate johnson & johnson's credo and leadership imperatives into team goals and decision making.
qualifications
* requires m.d. qualifications, as well as additional training and/or board certifications relevant to area of expertise.
* solid background experience in immunology is a plus and desired.
* proven experience as sr medical manager in the pharma industry is mandatory, with 5-7 years in that role.
* english fluent.
* proven experience leading teams is mandatory.
