the site medical liaison is responsible for providing medical support and emergency services within the delivery station. They identify potential safety issues, implement site wellness programs, and maintain accurate records of treatment provided to associates.
key responsibilities
* triage, first aid, and referrals: provide timely medical assistance, refer associates to external healthcare providers when necessary, and manage first-aid kits and supplies.
* medical record keeping: maintain up-to-date records of treatments given to associates and submit daily activity logs to leadership.
* training and development: train managers and associates on medical procedures, ensuring they are equipped to respond effectively in medical emergencies.
* incident analysis: conduct regular analysis of incidents, identify areas for improvement, and present findings to leadership.
* communication: attend stand-up meetings, communicate with the team, and foster a culture of open communication and collaboration.
about the team
you will report to the whs manager and support an assigned site as the primary medical representative. Your responsibilities will include managing the amcare room, handling occupational health prevention, and responding to medical emergencies on site.
qualifications
* mandatory qualifications: bachelor's degree in medicine (médico cirujano) or nursing (licenciatura en enfermería), valid first aid, cpr, and aed certification from the american heart association or red cross, 2+ years of experience providing emergency services in a pre-hospital setting, knowledge of microsoft office products and applications, and basic knowledge of imss forms and administrative documentation.
* preferred qualifications: emt-basic certification from the red cross or similar, certified to teach first aid, cpr, and aed, experience leading and managing a team, and intermediate english language skills.
