Collaborate with accounting technology goals for cemex's overall compliance with applicable accounting standards through supporting the issuance of accounting policies and procedures and the development of cemex consolidated financial statements, the generation of financial information analyses with ges, planning and finance areas in respect to periodical reports pertaining the operations of such areas, as well as collaborating in resolving audit matters with the company's internal and external auditors.
*main responsibilities*:
- data processing in the development and issuance of cemex's consolidated financial statements
- supporting the maintenance of the accounting policies and procedures library
- support to advisor in the consolidation of global deferred income taxes
- support the development of the 20f report and md&a information
- data processing of periodic global accounting reviews
- data processing regarding periodic financial information analyses to ges, planning and finance in connection with accounting issues
- support of controllership' digitalization process
- data processing of the derivative's financial instruments' portfolio report
- data processing in reports of acquisition and divestiture processes
*position challenges*:
- effectively deal with data processing of highly technical reports and analyses of complex issues under pressure while meeting deadlines with high quality
*qualifications*:
- proficient in english (written and spoken)
- public accountant, bachelor in accounting and finance or equivalent
- between 2-3 years in the fields of accounting standards, financial information, consolidation and administration.
- knowledge of ifrs and mex frs as well as financial information systems such as sap and hfm
- teamwork, highly analytical and oriented to details, public speaking, self-motivated, presentation skills
- highly proficient in microsoft tools such as sharepoint, excel, word and powerpoint
