*about the role*

*tna *is looking for a key account manager manager (kam) who will be responsible for identifying new target markets, building and maintaining relationships with prospective and current clients with the objective of achieving sales revenue and growth according to team and individual targets.

This position is based at queretaro - *mexico *, reporting to the *divisional sales manager *.

*key responsibilities*

you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- identify and develop new business opportunities with new & current clients, in existing snack industries that can be served by our equipment line.
- support the development of sales promotion and lead generation activities, plus other relevant marketing initiatives.
- discuss specific client requirements with project engineers, to ensure the product range can be adapted to meet their specifications.
- work with the engineers and project management team to confirm specific client requirements, timeframes for installation and *tna *practices and requirements.
- asses and review, on an ongoing basis, results of all sales activities and ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve unsatisfactory conditions.
- evaluate, develop and execute targeted initiatives to help grow sales and overall support for *tna’s *equipment including short and mid-term business plans with objectives.
- liaise with technical support to achieve and maintain client satisfaction, from installation and commissioning to maintenance.
- ensure sound knowledge of *tna’s *products and services is maintained and developed on a continual basis, and accurately communicated to customers.
- maintain knowledge and awareness of competitors and competitor pricing.
- represent *tna *at trade fairs, exhibitions & networking events (including some weekends).
- ensure crm information is continually updated providing accurate forecasting information.

*desired knowledge, skills and experience*

*qualifications*:

- qualifications in business administration, sales, marketing, commerce or engineering discipline are considered, but not mandatory.

*work experience*:

- previous experience in machinery sales and/or engineering roles is desirable.
- previous experience as a kam sr.
- previous experience in b2b (5 years).
- previous experience with international accounts/customers.
- previous experience managing teams.
- sales management history, with proven results of consistently driving the sales process from plan to close, ensuring outcomes are achieved.
- exposure to the manufacturing industry (specifically food or packaging).

*skills & abilities*:

- working knowledge of current marketplace trends.
- sound knowledge of selling strategies is essential.
- a ‘people person’ with a strong sense of initiative and enthusiasm.
- well organized and diligent, able to work calmly under pressure.
- ensures a collaborative approach and able to seek and listen to feedback.
- self-motivated and driven, self-learner and able to work unsupervised and in a global atmosphere.
- identification with *tna *values including being a team player, passionate, professional, committed, honest and treat people with dignity and respect.
- superior communication (speaking & listening), negotiation and influencing skills & abilities.
- able to stage a selling process that overcomes objection and indifferences and connects client needs with *tna *solutions.
- ability to think strategically with good reasoning ability.
- able to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- able to problem solve & make decisions in line with organisational philosophies and practices.
- strong computer literacy.
- valid driver’s license and car in good working order.
- valid passport with more than 6 months before expiry.
- bilingual with english language proficiency.
- availability to travel (70% of the time)
