3d production artist
liquid development is looking for a mid‑level 3d production artist passionate about creating high quality game‑ready assets focused on environments and/or props outside and inside of a game engine. You will work alongside a team of experienced artists on some of today’s top titles, collaborating with hard surface, environment, and world building teams, and ensuring high quality and visual consistency.
key responsibilities
* create unique assets focused on environments and/or props outside and inside of a game engine.
* learn proprietary pipelines and tools built into the scope.
* collaborate with experienced artists working on some of today’s top titles.
* maintain strong attention to detail and sense of design.
requirements
* strong portfolio/demo reel with recent work showcasing a range of stylistically different pieces (realistic, exaggerated, etc.) as a 3d artist for video games (must submit to be considered).
* 2+ years of professional experience working as a 3d artist in the video game industry.
* proficiency with maya, 3ds max, marmoset toolbag, adobe substance (painter & design), and zbrush.
* experience working in a team environment on a game project.
* technical proficiency in game art workflows such as topology, uvs, and optimized meshes.
* familiarity with aaa game production pipelines.
* english proficiency: b2 or higher required.
