objectives
lead the sales strategy and execution across multiple points of sale, with a strong focus on driving sell-out performance and enhancing the customer experience. Ensure optimal resource allocation, manage negotiations with clients and distributors, and oversee the implementation of commercial and marketing initiatives to support long-term sustainable growth.
key responsibilities
team leadership and management
* recruit, evaluate, and develop high‑performing teams, including supervisors and beauty advisors (bas), with the support of human resources.
* monitor commission calculations, product launches, and reimbursements.
* foster professional growth through coaching, mentoring, and personalized development plans.
* coordinate and motivate retail teams, including counter managers, fragrance specialists, and beauty advisors, across assigned brands (chanel & distributed brands).
* supervise field team activities, ensuring timely submission of visit reports and proper follow‑up.
* provide actionable insights and direction based on data analysis to improve sell‑out performance and operational efficiency.
* serve as a liaison between local operations and regional management, ensuring consistent communication and smooth execution of strategies.
marketing and training
* manage marketing tools and implement concrete in‑store actions in collaboration with internal teams, distributors, and key retailers.
* design and execute promotional plans aligned with distributors and brand guidelines.
* ensure brand image standards are met, maintaining quality and visual excellence at all points of sale.
* develop and implement promotional strategies in partnership with retailers and distributors.
* organize training programs, promotional events, and makeup artist visits to increase team engagement and elevate the customer experience.
* coordinate with the training team to ensure appropriate product knowledge for beauty advisors and field staff.
* oversee the implementation of visual merchandising plans, ensuring compliance with established standards.
* supervise the execution of trade marketing plans and display installations.
sales animation and leadership
* ensure net and wholesale sales figures meet or exceed budgeted targets.
* monitor customer orders, stock rotation, and inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
* negotiate commercial terms with clients, including margins, returns, reimbursements, and key space allocations.
* develop alternative sales strategies to address and mitigate unexpected market trends.
* approve and manage the opening/closing of points of sale to ensure brand image standards and optimize profitability.
* prepare and analyze annual forecasts for products and promotional materials.
* supervise and coordinate purchase orders with clients and brand managers.
* implement and oversee commercial activations and key events, such as beauty schools and make‑up artist visits.
* continuously monitor the local market, competition, and new business opportunities.
what are we looking for?
* bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, industrial engineering, or related fields.
* over 5 years of experience in regional management roles, preferably in the luxury or beauty industry.
* 3+ years in sales and retail management roles, preferably within luxury and/or beauty sectors.
* fluent in english and spanish.
* exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills with diverse stakeholders.
* strategic thinker with strong analytical and results‑oriented capabilities.
* advanced skills in data‑driven decision‑making and use of digital tools.
* proven leadership abilities, with a focus on team empowerment, coaching, and multicultural collaboration.
* strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
* proficient in ms office suite, with advanced skills in excel and powerpoint.
* awareness of digital trends and retail management best practices.
