are you an experienced systems engineer looking for a role that breaks the 9-to-5 mold?
we're hiring a
systems engineer
in
mexico
to support our
global infrastructure operations during critical off-hours. You'll play a key role in keeping our systems stable, secure, and optimized—handling
restarts, network changes, authentication issues, database troubleshooting, directory management, and more across
linux, windows, aix, and esxi environments .
what you'll do
monitor infrastructure performance and uptime across virtualized environments.
execute system restarts, service restarts, directory creation, and file management.
troubleshoot database access, authentication, and user issues.
perform hardware, os, and storage maintenance during change windows.
work in high-availability setups: clusters, replication, and dr implementations.
support multi-site environments following change control best practices.
respond to incidents and participate in a global on-call rotation for mission-critical systems.
you're a fit if you have
5+ years working with
vmware (vsphere, esxi), linux, and microsoft os .
experience handling weekend and after-hours support in enterprise environments.
skills in scripting or automation (powershell, bash, python, or ansible).
working knowledge of
active directory, authentication flows, and service monitoring.
proven success supporting
infrastructure operations, including troubleshooting and security compliance.
what sets you apart
hands-on experience with
vrealize, aix, cloudera, gcp/aws, or servicenow .
familiarity with
pci/sox
compliance and infrastructure documentation.
certifications:
vcp-dcv, linux+, microsoft, aws/gcp, itil .
