Job Description
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
Import executive is responsible for arranging inventories with adhere to company & country policies, to plan & implement all import transportation strategies according to supplier & customer demands & administer movement of all goods & ensure compliance to all government regulation.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
2. Responsible for imports of RM/FG/Inks/Parts/Machines with adhere to their classification & company policies /government regulation.
3. Should be well verse with all Import policies.
4. Should be aware of all concession agreements ( FTA//COO)
5. Making sure that all these import programs are in agreement with the accepted rules and regulations of the organization.
6. Dealing with Day to Day Customs issues via advising through clearing agent.
7. Scrutiny of Shipping Documents.
8. Sending details of consignments to clearing Agents.
9. Verification of custom duties & sending Pay order request to Finance.
10. Follow up with clearing agent for shipment release.
11. Ensuring to in house shipment on timely basis .
12. Providing all relevant documents to Finance for remittance purpose.
13. Keeping Track of AFE/Capex purchases separately.
14. Checking all relevant invoices & providing to finance.
15. Provide Saving report on monthly basis.
16. GIT report on Weekly basis.
17. Maintaining all certificates to ensure compliance.
18. Ethically following trade compliance.
Qualifications
HAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
19. Degree on International Business, International Trade or similars
20. At least 3 to 5 years of related experience on imports
21. Good knowledge and understanding of imports
22. Good Communication Skill
23. Should have handled Custom Broker
24. Experience of handling Forwarders and Shipping Lines
25. Knowledge of Advance License and duty benefits
26. Worked with manufacturing industry
27. Relationship Building Skills
28. Analytical Skill and Proficiency in Computers
29. Knowledge of Trade Compliance
