Hartmann Young is partnered with a longstanding global client in IVD, who are looking to grow their team in LATAM with an Account Manager based in Mexico City, to drive sales growth and strengthen customer relationships across Mexico.
Account Manager - Mexico City (field-based)
- Grow revenue and market share within the Mexico territory;
- Develop and execute product launch and market plans;
- Manage relationships with key accounts, distributors, and opinion leaders;
- Support adoption of new technologies in hospitals and labs;
- Provide market intelligence and accurate reporting;
- Collaborate with international sales, marketing, and technical teams.
The person
- University degree with 5+ years in medical device sales;
- Strong track record in diagnostics or laboratory products;
- Knowledge of the IVD market in Mexico;
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills;
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic and some international).

Account Manager
- Job summary and responsibilities include driving business development and brand promotion of company brands (HP, Acer, Predator, Lenovo) across multiple markets (APAC, Middle East, Europe).
- Plan sales strategies, cultivate local clients, and expand opportunities to meet performance and profit goals.
Main responsibilities include:
- Brand product sales and promotion for HP-branded SSD/DRAM products;
- Promote sales of Acer and Predator dual-brand SSD/DRAM/memory card products;
- Develop Lenovo-branded SSD business to increase market share;
- Explore new business opportunities and market trends; formulate sales strategies;
Customer relationship & maintenance:
- Maintain communication with clients, assist in solving sales/technical issues, enhance satisfaction and loyalty;
- Collect market intelligence and propose strategic adjustments;
- Formulate and execute quarterly/annual sales plans to achieve targets;
- Analyze sales data and manage budgets.
Channel & regional operations:
- Familiarity with regional channels; establish co-operation with agents, distributors, and retailers to enhance brand coverage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, related fields preferred;
- At least 3 years of experience in international business or brand channel sales, IT hardware or storage product sales preferred;
- English proficiency; strong negotiation and problem-solving skills;
- Willing to travel overseas occasionally.
