Senior qa automation engineer – mexico only

we are seeking a highly skilled qa automation engineer to lead quality assurance efforts across our cloud-based saas platform. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technical, and passionate about automation, mentoring, and driving quality from the earliest stages of development.
key responsibilities
* design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (ui, api, performance)
* build and optimize testing frameworks and ci/cd pipelines
* implement shift-left testing practices to improve software quality early
* collaborate closely with product and engineering teams on test strategy
* mentor junior qa engineers and promote qa best practices
* continuously evaluate and improve test coverage, tools, and processes
required skills & experience
* 5+ years in qa automation for cloud-based saas products
* strong programming/scripting skills: java, javascript, python, shell
* experience with automation tools: selenium, junit, postman, jmeter, jenkins
* deep knowledge of api, ui, functional, regression, and performance testing
* ci/cd & devops experience: git/github/gitlab, jira, confluence
* agile methodologies: scrum, bdd/tdd, continuous integration/delivery
* excellent english communication (written and spoken)

* mobile testing (manual and automated)
* cloud platforms: aws, azure, gcp
* containerization: docker, kubernetes
* using ai in qa (test generation, code review, automation)
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
* 4–6+ years relevant qa/automation experience in saas/cloud applications
* proven track record delivering high-quality software in agile environments
* only candidates currently residing in mexico will be considered.
