we are seeking a
senior financial analyst
to play a critical, hands-on role in our fp&a team. You will be the financial storyteller, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that directly influence organizational strategy and business growth. Success in this role requires a blend of exceptional analytical skills, advanced financial modeling capabilities, and the ability to work independently to deliver results.
key responsibilities: what you will do
financial storytelling:
perform in-depth financial statement analysis and compile data from various sources to tell the financial "story" behind the numbers, identifying key trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
strategic modeling:
develop sophisticated financial models, proformas, and analyses in response to urgent, ad-hoc requests from operations and executive leadership.
budget & forecast:
assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial modeling.
reporting & dashboards:
develop, maintain, and enhance financial reports, dashboards, and kpi monitoring tools for business units and senior management.
collaboration & insight:
partner with cross-functional teams to provide clear financial recommendations that drive measurable business growth.
process improvement:
proactively identify and implement process efficiencies to increase the accuracy and timeliness of reporting and analysis.
what you will bring (skills & requirements)
the essentials
education:
bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
experience:
3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis.
data mastery:
expert-level excel modeling skills
(vba, pivot tables, complex formulas) and ability to manipulate large datasets from multiple sources.
technical acumen:
strong understanding of financial principles and familiarity with financial programs and software (experience with
sage intacct
is a plus).
communication:
proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear, business-focused recommendations and polished presentations for senior leadership.
the ideal candidate also has
prior experience in the
healthcare industry
or knowledge of its financial trends.
