your role and responsibilities
* design, develop, and maintain scalable etl/elt data pipelines and applications using python, shell scripting, bteq with teradata, databricks, and snowflake.
* implement and optimize sql across teradata, oracle, and other relational databases, contributing to ci/cd automation.
* build and manage cloud infrastructure with aws and terraform, leveraging ai‑driven productivity tools such as copilot and cursor.
* ensure best practices in code quality, security, and performance, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, timely solutions.
desired skills and experience
* minimum 4‑5 years overall it experience.
* advanced programming expertise in python, shell scripting, and spark.
* strong data engineering proficiency across databricks, sql platforms (teradata, snowflake, oracle), and unix environments.
* experience with aws, terraform, ci/cd tools, and devops practices.
* skilled in debugging, performance optimization, and ai productivity tools.
* advanced english proficiency.
