Agile project lead
the agile project lead plays a pivotal role in synchronizing team activities with broader program requirements.
* main responsibilities:
* effective collaboration with the product owner to ensure alignment of project schedules and tasks.
* budget management, including actuals, forecasts, and error correction as necessary.
* capturing and managing project information in clarity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* simultaneous management of at least two pods without delays, optimizing productivity.
* familiarity with rags (red, amber, green status) indicators for feature/project status.
* facilitating team self-organisation, promoting continuous improvement in change and run activities aligned with the product roadmap and customer expectations.
* providing coaching and leadership to enable agile delivery, encompassing facilitation of team meetings such as retrospectives, reviews, and planning events.
* shielding the team from interruptions during sprints to maintain agile process efficiency.
* ensuring agile principles are supported by relevant practices, preventing stagnation.
* coaching the team in adopted agile practices, including stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews, and enforcing adherence.
* organising agile and team events as agreed upon with the team.
* creating a safe environment where team members feel empowered to raise impediments.
* removal of impediments to optimize team workflow.
* collaboration with the product owner and business analyst to reprioritize the backlog in response to scope changes, bugs, or emerging issues.
* raising and escalating risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies through the project manager.
* maintenance of physical and electronic progress boards.
