The supplier development analyst role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, developing project plans, actions and metrics associated with the performance improvement with a select group of strategic suppliers. The position focuses on supplier delivery, quality and inventory performance improvements. It is a position to build relationships with the supply chain, strategic sourcing and operations organizations to become an invested team member to meet our customers’ needs.

- certified supply chain professional (apics) is a plus
- certified as9100 auditor or similar quality management system understanding of advanced product quality planning (apqp), process failure mode effects analysis (pfmea), production part approval process (ppap) is a plus
- willingness to travel and interact proactively with te manufacturing site personnel and suppliers (up to 50%)

- as supplier development analyst your responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following:
- responsible for assessing supplier capabilities to ensure supplier is able to reach the level of performance, capability and capacity required to meet our business needs
- collaborating closely with key suppliers to achieve the following supplier results:
- process control and quality system improvement
- delivery performance and lead time improvement
- cost reduction and productivity improvement
- supply chain effectiveness improvement and optimization
- capacity increases
- will also work with the assigned sqe to help identify and resolve any quality issues with targeted supplier
- this position will teach suppliers on how to work with te teoa tools (supplier portal access, te procedures, dpa & dlt, standard tools, etc.)
- coach new team members on how to work within te guidelines (portal access, e-procurement tool usage, te procedures, etc.)
- work with strategic sourcing specialists to manage supplier relationship within monthly performance reviews and quarterly business reviews
- work as support for various te manufacturing sites, focusing on how supplied material impacts the business unit strategy in term of availability and inventory
- monitor and communicate key supplier performance metrics
