Responsibility
* lead the mexico sales team to achieve annual and quarterly targets; develop and execute market entry and expansion with the executive general manager to implement global initiatives and drive sustainable growth.
* develop new customer segments and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients in the mexican wind power market (including developers, utilities such as cfe, and epcs).
* conduct market intelligence activities (customer demand analysis, competitor benchmarking, industry trend monitoring) to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
* support strategic decision-making by analyzing mexico’s energy policies, utility procurement mechanisms, and developer requirements.
* manage end-to-end sales processes, including contract negotiation, commercial terms, delivery coordination, and payment collection.ensure compliance with local regulations and internal standards while balancing growth and risk.
* collaborate with internal teams (r&d, engineering, finance, legal, supply chain) to deliver competitive solutions and support market expansion.
* stay updated on mexican import/export regulations, renewable energy policies, permitting requirements, and industry standards.
* proactively identify and manage regulatory, contractual, and operational risks in overseas sales activities.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field.10+ years of sales experience, including 3+ years in renewable energy or wind sales management.experience in mexico or latin america preferred.
* strong understanding of the mexican renewable energy market (developers, utilities such as cfe, epcs).proven track record in market development and deal execution.
* strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.strategic, results-driven, and adaptable in complex environments.
* fluent in spanish and english,willingness to travel as needed.
