As a traffic analyst you are responsible for setting policy and process for importation/exportation and shipment of materials, equipment, products, packages and documents, including fulfillment of customs requirements. You monitor the import process, customs documentation, shipping, and receiving of foreign merchandise to ensure compliance with the home and foreign country government laws and customs regulations.

your responsibilities/activities:
* schedule maritime and air collections in asia, europe, and the united states according to incoterms.
* track the transit of collections, ensuring customs clearance and transportation to apex qro.
* manage an import shipment delivery calendar.
* optimize transit times and costs for air and sea freight.
* verify the correct hts materials (import/export) and required documents for authorities.
* use knowledge of international trade agreements to ensure these are leveraged for imports, avoiding unnecessary taxes.
* follow up on exports according to the scheduled shipments by the plant, ensuring collections are scheduled, sending documents to the customs broker, and ensuring material delivery to the agreed destination.
* maintain punctuality of all import/export data and reports to mitigate future risks.
qualifications
your profile
* bachelor's degree in international trade, logistics, administration or similar.
* 3+ years of experience in similar roles within customs and/or traffic.
