What You’d Be Doing In This Role We’re looking for an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to join our International Marketing team in Mexico on an initial 12-month contract, with the opportunity to extend. You will be the creative performance engine behind Canva’s paid marketing in the region, responsible for audience insight, creative analysis, sprint leadership, and directing a high-performing creative strategy that sits at the intersection of data, storytelling, and cultural nuance.
Your role is to work with channel experts to ensure that our creative system is always improving and driving growth. You will understand the market and our customers, dive deep into the tools, and lead the team’s execution through the creative strategy flywheel with the broader team. This is a hands-on, insight-led role where local knowledge, analytical curiosity, and creative excellence drive outcomes.
At The Moment, This Role Is Focused On
Analyse dashboards to spot winning creatives, diagnose underperformance, and feed back actionable insights to guide new concepts and iterations.
Understand key marketing channels and how media buying influences creative success. Ability to dissect a winning TikTok format and adapt it for Canva, with a deep knowledge of platform best practices.
Lead the full creative cycle: research, briefing, production, editing, and analysis — driving sprint cycles with regional/global teams. Develop testable ideas grounded in user insights and market context, collaborating with producers, writers, and editors.
Collaborate with media buying experts, the Growth Marketing Lead for the region, the data science team, and the local and global creative teams and other stakeholders involved in campaign execution and marketing operations.
Bring cultural fluency and market nuance to every project, identifying regional trends, visual cues, differences in product usage and behaviours that shape effective storytelling in your market.
Brief and review creator content to ensure it’s on-brand, relevant, and platform-optimised, scaling high-performing UGC for local audiences.
Support CRO initiatives to make acquisition journeys seamless, engaging, and high-converting.
You're probably a match if
5+ years of experience working in growth marketing teams with a focus on creative strategy.
Experience working across performance-driven creative, with a deep understanding of ad metrics, audience segmentation, and platform best practices.
Confidence using data tools and performance dashboards to inform decision-making and optimise creative at scale.
Excellent communication skills in English and the local language, with the ability to spot tone, nuance, and resonance in creative work. Additional languages are viewed favourably.
Strong experience in briefing, reviewing, and iterating creative in cross-functional sprints.
A growth mindset. You’re analytical, curious, and unafraid to push for better.
