main responsibilities
* accounts receivable recording: support in accurately registering sales, collections, and write-offs based on original documents (contracts, delivery notes, etc.). Maintain updated records and ensure accurate account reconciliation.
* reconciliation and collection follow-up: assist in sending account statements to clients, confirming balances, and following up on pending or overdue payments in coordination with the sales team.
* credit management support: help monitor customer credit status, review aging reports, and identify potential risks.
* reporting and analysis: prepare basic reports such as aging summaries and collection forecasts to support management decisions.
* tax-related tasks: assist with vat invoice management and other accounting documentation.
* client portfolio exposure: work with major retail chains such as liverpool, chedraui, soriana, walmart, sanborns, and costco.
requirements
* education: bachelors degree in accounting (professional license required).
* experience: 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable or similar roles.
* language: advanced english.
* availability: 100% on-site in santa fe, cdmx.
* soft skills: detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and eager to learn.
