Position summary:
our customer team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated senior salesforce business analyst to support our commercial sales and revenue operations organization for project implementations and ongoing support of our customer’s global salesforce sales cloud. This role will provide challenging and continuous innovation opportunities with deep technical knowledge of the system. responsibilities:
* collaborate with customer and external consulting resources, product owners globally on requirement gathering, design, estimation, and delivery of new features.
* collaborate with all customer's stakeholders and partner engineers/developers in creating and maintaining scalable and performant customer solutions.
* partner with product owners, subject matter experts, business stakeholders, and analysts to elicit, analyze, and document requirements by effectively using persona guides, journey maps, pain-point, risk, and gap analysis tools.
* support, guide, and drive the development of user stories through grooming requirements, impact, and data analysis, recommending pragmatic design options and decisions.
* participate in sprint planning and backlog prioritization activities to ensure backlog readiness while proactively raising issues by indicating an appropriate level of urgency.
* use effective communication and presentation skills to manage ambiguity, influence, negotiate, facilitate and gain stakeholder consensus.
* own, manage, and maintain salesforce and technology best practices.
* work on a mix of sustaining issues, enhancements and projects in a fast-paced global environment with minimal supervision.
* execute and support integration, user acceptance, and regression testing cycles.
requirements:
* must have 5+ years of extensive hands-on application administration, configuration, and design on the salesforce platform.
* must have 3+ years’ experience working in an agile environment, preferably with tools like jira and confluence.
* extensive experience working with distributed teams.
* must have a solid understanding of sales cloud in addition to common salesforce and 3rd party add-ons. Marketing and service cloud knowledge is a plus.
* must have salesforce administrator certification.
* preferred certifications include salesforce platform developer i, advanced administrator, ai specialist and apttus certifications.
* position requires being on-call for critical support issues.
experience/education:
ba/bs degree or equivalent practical experience.
