we are seeking an experienced and dynamic regional field service manager to lead and manage field service operations in mexico and support the latin america region for our compressor business. This includes normal service activities, modification and upgrades, and new compressor installations. The successful candidate will be based in mexico and will bring a strong technical background in compressors and compressor operations, excellent leadership capabilities, and a customer-focused mindset to drive operational excellence and field service growth in the region.

what you bring
* bachelor\'s degree in engineering, business administration, technology, or a related field, with 5-7 years of relevant experience in field service, repair operations, or customer technical support, preferably within the compressor or industrial equipment industry.
* strong technical knowledge of turbo and reciprocating machinery principles, operations, installation, commissioning, and maintenance practices.
* proven ability to interact professionally with management, clients, and shop personnel, demonstrating tact, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
* strategic problem solver with strong analytical skills, capable of translating business goals into operational initiatives, assessing training needs, and driving data-driven decisions.
* experience with erp/service management systems (e.g., sap, salesforce), familiarity with regional regulatory and safety standards, and ability to travel regionally and internationally (10%-25%).
* fluent in english, with preferred experience at a global compressor oem or similar manufacturer, and a solid understanding of service business operations and customer support.

combustion turbine tuning/commissioning field service engineer

the major activities include tuning, troubleshooting and commissioning of large gas turbines, also implement improvements, logic changes in the control system. The position requires 80%+ travel to power plant sites internationally. You will attend site meetings with customers to review scope, advance and unit start up schedule and issues.
how you'll make an impact
* primary contact to customers for the maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning of large gas turbines.
* have a wide knowledge of the theory of the combustion process and understanding of the combustion dynamics that occur in siemens energy large gas turbine.
* able to perform combustion tuning on siemens-energy sgt6-5000f, sgt6-6000g, sgt6-8000h frame gas turbines. This includes tuning procedures, countermeasures for pressure fluctuations, and performance of special tuning.
* work closely with the siemens energy project team from planning to completion of service projects, provide start-up commissioning, operations and/or troubleshooting support for equipment failures and determine root cause analysis and implement solutions to ensure equipment services and commissioning processes are followed.
* prepare and forward accurate reports concerning the condition and repairs and recommendations for customer equipment.
* lead and supervise i&c technicians\' team to implement the scope when required.
* implement scope in accordance with siemens energy field service procedures and comply with the integral management system (ehs, quality).
what you bring
* bachelor of science degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
* 5+ years of experience as a field service commissioning and combustion tuning engineer.
* technical knowledge on troubleshooting, combustion tuning and commissioning of large gas turbines.
* teamwork, results-oriented, risk management and adaptability in a changing environment.
* proficient computer skills (microsoft office and ability to learn others as needed).
* flexibility and willingness for domestic and international travel (80%).
* working proficiency in english (verbal and written).
