- work within the parameters of the qm system to help achieve general and specific company quality efforts and growth objectives.
*responsibilities*:
- assignment of orders to specific suppliers for the necessary components
- sort by project requirements
- order based on part shortages and internal production documents.
- maintain and update inventory levels of "stock" items along with weekly reorder report.
- maintain and update supplier information and literature
- clarification and resolution of discrepancies in components and errors in the bill of materials
- coordinate discrepancies in deliveries or invoices with receipt and accounts payable
- expedite expired orders with our suppliers.
*requirements*:
- bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce and/or related field.
- 3+ years of purchasing experience in electronics industry.
- understanding of the distribution structure of electronic products and knowledge of key players in the market.
- knowledge of all aspects related to the production of precision electronic, mechanical and electromechanical assemblies and subassemblies
- effective communication skills in english (verbal and written).
- good knowledge of inventory control, inventory turnover and the various supply chain programs available that can improve the position of materials in a production environment.
- understand the various component distribution channels.
- understands mrp concepts and best practices.
- negotiation skills
