responsibilities

* start jobs in tms (transport management system), fulfill all activities and notes within the system.

* open and follow up on orders with clients by telephone and mail (case management) at least every 24 hours and those communications marked as urgent must be responded to within two hours of receipt of the request.

* maintain clear and cordial communication with customers and escalate in a timely manner to the customer service supervisor any situation where the shipment is at risk or there is marked customer dissatisfaction with the shipment.

* make sure the shipment starts in a timely manner according to the preparation and delivery instructions and monitor it during transportation; react flexibly to any deviation and solve any issue to guarantee the service is finished according to clients’ needs. Ensure that collections are made according to the established times and following the preparation and delivery instructions, as well as monitor them during transit; act flexibly to any deviations and solve any problems to ensure that the service is completed according to the needs of customers.

* provide timely information on shipping quote requests, costs must be aligned to actual shipment performance.

* ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, both legal (local and international laws), and internal (policies, quality standards, gxp, sops, internal guidelines, etc.).

* in addition to the tasks described above, the team member holding this position must carry out other duties assigned by his immediate superiors or within the company hierarchy, modifying or expanding the nature and scope of the services hereunder in accordance with the company’s needs and the nature of the services to be rendered by the employee.


education

* degree in international relations, foreign trade or related fields.


experience

* 2 years of experience in handling international and domestic operations for the transportation of medicines, biological samples and live animals, as well as experience and knowledge of customs processes and interactions with customs agencies.


skills

* sufficient experience to allow for independent work and unsupervised decision making.

* advanced computer skills, including but not limited to ms outlook, excel, powerpoint and erps

* excellent interpersonal relationships competency.

* intermediate english proficiency – reading/writing
