Key responsibilities
expand mre coverage: increase maersk rate engine (mre) repository coverage across countries/areas in the region using available dashboards.
Share clear data‑driven insights with area procurement and support rate maintenance activities to achieve and sustain a 95% global compliance target.
Mre super user & sme: act as a super user and subject matter expert for mre.
Deliver training sessions to local users to ensure effective onboarding and usage.
Rate expiration monitoring: proactively review and report on expiring rates to ensure timely renewal or action.
Error management: handle errors related to automatic rate transfers to ensure data integrity.
Manual rate uploads: support manual uploads of rates from sourcing or tender activities when required.
Feature testing: participate in testing of new mre features and enhancements with tech teams prior to production deployment.
Support tms implementations: lead rate digitization and compliance activities during downstream transport management system (tms) implementations, especially during explore, testing, go‑live and hyper‑care phases.
Tms automation monitoring: monitor automation metrics in scope within tms.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to area procurement, provide insights, conduct gap analysis, root‑cause issues and track corrective actions.
Procurement strategy support: assist area procurement with business shares and structural capacity maintenance and management aligned with procurement award strategies.
Payment dispute analysis: provide support in payment disputes root‑cause analysis.
Qualifications
bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, it, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a related role.
Proficient in microsoft excel, powerpoint and outlook.
Experience with power bi and generative ai is a plus.
Strong communication skills in english and spanish, both written and verbal.
Portuguese is a plus.
High level of self‑awareness and the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with keen attention to detail.
