Join our dynamic team and make your mark on the payments technology landscape of tomorrow.Overview of the role:We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented Senior Sales Director to lead our SMB sales organization. This leader will oversee a diverse team including sales managers, new sales executives, portfolio retention executives, and inside sales representatives. The role requires building and executing sales strategies in close collaboration with our banking partners, while also driving market penetration campaigns across multiple sales channels. The ideal candidate is able to move seamlessly between strategic vision and tactical execution, ensuring strong alignment with partners, sustainable double-digit growth, and embedding a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer focus across a geographically dispersed team.Key Responsibilities:- Own the achievement of sales targets across the SMB portfolio, driving both new business growth and portfolio consolidation.- Lead the relationship with our primary banking partner, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and shared accountability.- Co-develop sales strategies with the bank partner and translate them into execution models with disciplined cadences, supported by clear KPIs, reporting, and performance dashboards.- Lead and coach a diverse salesforce (sales managers, new sales executives, portfolio retention executives, inside sales), ensuring excellence in process, practices, and customer engagement.- Drive market penetration campaigns across multiple sales channels to accelerate SMB expansion.- Collaborate with Marketing to generate, nurture, and convert leads through alternative channels beyond banking partners.- Partner with the Training team to secure consistent capability building for the sales organization.- Ensure strategies and execution frameworks are effectively cascaded across geographically dispersed teams.- Analyze customer behavior and design strategies to boost loyalty, prevent churn, and expand share of wallet, particularly among top accounts.- Continuously assess market coverage and design initiatives to maximize geographic penetration.- Work cross-functionally to optimize business processes, enhancing commercial efficiency and agility.- Define and monitor business indicators that enable continuous performance improvement and proactive decision-making.- Promote a culture of innovation, service, and accountability throughout the sales organization.Required Qualifications- Proven track record leading sales teams focused on SMB clients.- Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, or B2B industries.- Strong background managing remote and geographically dispersed teams.- Hands-on experience with CRM tools; ability to design and manage KPIs and reporting models.- Familiarity with technology-driven innovation, including digital marketing, AI applications, and sales optimization tools; demonstrates curiosity and openness to adopt new solutions that enhance commercial performance.- Demonstrated success in building direct and partner-led sales channels.- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to design management models and performance indicators.- Experience managing sales managers (not only individual contributors).- Ability to move fluidly between strategic vision and tactical execution.- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related field required; MBA preferred not mandatory.- Advanced English proficiency.Competencies & Personal Attributes- Strategic thinker with a strong analytical and data-driven mindset.- Resilient, customer-focused, and execution-oriented.- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.- Strong ability to structure solutions and deliver impactful executive presentations.- Balances coaching and accountability, ensuring both development and results.- Able to maintain multiple priorities in parallel with disciplined follow-up.- Comfortable visiting different geographies to learn best practices and replicate success quickly.- Ensures every new strategy includes clear measurement mechanisms from the outset.Why Join Global Payments?As a Fortune 500 global payments leader, Integral Payments offers an exceptional opportunity to be part of an organization that empowers commerce worldwide—across 170+ countries and billions of transactions annually.
