we are looking for a quality inspector partial discharge to join our quality team. The position is based in tetla, mexico.
main responsibilities:
1. ensure compliance with requirements, standards, policies, and procedures of tl 9000, iso 9001, iso 17025, iso 14001, iso 45001, and iso 50001 systems (integrated management system). Promote their application throughout the company to align activities with our organizational culture.
2. conduct acceptance tests based on sampling and applicable standards. Make decisions based on results and implement continuous improvements to the plant's quality management system.
3. communicate test results to internal clients through detailed reports.
4. verify the measurement and testing equipment's condition using a check list to prevent errors caused by damaged equipment. Coordinate repairs when necessary.
5. prepare cables (tips) for testing following national and international procedures, ensuring proper identification according to quality management system procedures, especially for cables produced at the tetla plant.
6. report unsatisfactory test results, identify faults such as partial discharge or dielectric withstand issues, and provide feedback to production and process engineering to reduce errors and recover finished products if needed.
who are we looking for?
* formal education: minimum technician level, preferably in electrical engineering or similar.
* experience: at least 1 year of experience in partial discharge inspection or related areas (desirable).
* training: knowledge of office software, ability to prepare comparative graphs, and familiarity with iso standards (9001, tl 9000, 17025, 14001, 45001, 50001) (desirable).
