Responsibilities
Specifications Review & Analysis
- Review customer specifications provided by Project Management, utilizing JAMA software when required.
- Prepare and present comments or alternative proposals that guide customers toward standard Fisher manufacturing practices.
- Assist in resolving inquiries from Manufacturing or customers related to procedures, quality assurance, material testing, and code compliance.
- Select appropriate manufacturing procedures for projects requiring customer submittals and assist in addressing any related customer feedback.
- Support Project Managers and Impact Partners in communicating and negotiating specification comments and exceptions with Engineering Procurement Contractors (EPCs) and End Users.
Specification Documentation
- Research and review documentation to identify requirements for Critical Service Products (CSP), Large Special Contracts (LSC), and Nuclear replacement parts orders.
- Analyze data from various systems including historical Marshalltown handling systems (LSC, SHS, NHS), North Stonington drawings, Coraopolis serials, and Design Specifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in tools such as Oracle, JAMA, and EDOCS to track CSP order status and ensure timely release of items and documents to manufacturing.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Professional Degree Requirements (i.e., Engineering, Business Admin, etc.):
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related team
- Engineering, Industrial, or technical degree preferred
- Experience Requirements (Years / Type of prior responsibilities or experience / Industry, etc.)
- 5 years of quality, materials, or Flow Controls' manufacturing experience, knowledge of Fisher products, organizations, systems, and procedures required
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Technical Knowledge Requirements:
- Strong mechanical proficiency required
- Understanding of quality documents, procedures
- Knowledge of ASME/ANSI/ASTM code
- Knowledge of welding, NDE, and/or manufacturing
- EDOCS and Oracle knowledge a plus
- Microsoft 365 applications knowledge
