lead and direct maintenance technicians by scheduling assignments, monitoring progress, providing direction, guidance, and coaching. Ensuring delivered assignments are completed safely, timely, and correctly. Ensure all paperwork is completed on time and is correct.
Ensure maintenance personnel are trained in, and continually follow all of targa’s policies and procedures, including but not limited to, safety & environmental policies, targa’s code of conduct, human resources policies, standard operating procedures, vehicle maintenance procedures etc. prior to performing work.
Attend, participate and lead safety meetings and ensure all maintenance employees attend and participate in all safety meetings, recognize positive safety behavior.
Lead safety tailgate meetings to set goals and priorities and address any concerns.
Ensure all safety training of subordinates is completed in a timely manner and understanding of the content is met and applied in their day-to-day work.
Direct and manage all maintenance personnel’s work and schedules including but not limited to, time off requests, overtime, call outs etc.
Responsible for the safety and well-being of maintenance employees, leading by example in all aspects of the job and ensuring work is performed safely and accurately.
Responsible for the oversight for all housekeeping of assigned work areas. Ensure that all the assets that supervisor is responsible for are well maintained, clean, and all safety equipment properly and timely maintained.
