*role overview*:
we are looking for a *technical-savvy business development representative (bdr)* focused on *market growth* to drive expansion through resellers, referral partners, and strategic alliances.
you will recruit, onboard, and nurture partnerships that generate new park sign-ups and active roverpass users across north america.
*responsibilities*:
- develop and manage reseller and strategic referral partnerships across north america.
- recruit, onboard, and build strong relationships with partners such as resellers, brokers, associations, and management companies.
- lead technical discussions with partners regarding integrations, system compatibility, and product workflows.
- assist partners with product demos, including basic explanation of roverpass platform functionalities and integration options.
- drive market growth by focusing on partner acquisition and live park conversions.
- work closely with partners to ensure parks successfully go live and actively use roverpass.
- track, report, and optimize partner performance through crm tools and sales analytics.
- manage partner commission reporting in collaboration with the finance team.
- collaborate with the sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless park onboarding and partner satisfaction.
*requirements*:
- 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales roles with a technical component.
- strong understanding of the north american market dynamics.
- demonstrated ability to have *technical conversations* about integrations, apis, and basic saas architecture (non-developer level, but technical enough).
- excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- ability to manage multiple projects and partnerships independently in a fast-paced environment.
- strong written and verbal english fluency.
- proficiency with crm systems (e.g., hubspot, salesforce) and basic technical tools (e.g., understanding integrations via zapier, apis, saas platforms).
- bonus: experience in the outdoor hospitality industry (rv parks, campgrounds, travel, tourism).
