key responsibilities
- perform laboratory testing, including the definition of design of experiments (doe),
- adjust and calibrate instruments according to standard operating procedures (sop),
- research and explore new methods and technologies,
- design and conduct experiments to improve manufacturing procedures and raw materials,
- lead improvement initiatives to enhance production processes,
- gather estimates of production costs,
- test and monitor the performance of processes throughout production,
- troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes,
- conduct analysis and prepare reports on findings,
- validate raw material or process changes,
- release engineering changes as per business needs.
you must have
- bachelor's degree in chemical engineering,
- significant experience with colorants and injection materials, such as tpe and silicone,
- significant experience with foams and polymers.
- significant experience on definition of design of experiments (doe).
preferred qualifications
- strong understanding of engineering principles and mathematics,
- aptitude for and interest in chemistry,
- project management and resource management skills,
- excellent oral and written communication skills,
- strong analytical and problem-solving abilities,
- commitment to deliver projects timely,
- ms office intermediate (excel, powerpoint, and word),
- statistical analysis experience.
