roles & responsibilities
* lead, assure, and maintain an environment in compliance with the health and safety standards.
* responsible to generate and follow up risk assessment and lead risk mitigation.
* responsible to secure the indicators by means of the bsc (qro) smr (jrz).
* responsible to meet index rates objectives and generate contention and solution.
* responsible for the compliance of safety rules.
* responsible for gemba's and 5s audit.
* accountable to generate a safety environment promoting best safety practices.
* responsible to ensure that all safety procedures are followed in his/her areas.
* generate and maintain a work environment consistent with the brp culture.
* apply internal work regulations and/or policies.
* take actions to meet targets for turnover, absenteeism, and hi.
* ensure team participation in all trainings assigned for development and provide proper follow up during the process.
* oversee pmp and pdp processes for the team when applicable.
* foster a work environment based on trust, respect and teamwork.
* keep the team motivated and promote brp values.
* responsible for payroll.
kpi management
* know the participation and impact on area kpis, specifically from team performance.
* lead or assign the appropriate psp when a kpi objective is not met.
* communicate area results to the team.
quality & standards
* provide, ensure, and maintain quality standards.
* accountable for quality in the area.
* trigger improvement activities.
* own the quality in the area and ensure processes and standards in the quality system are followed.
production plan & resource management
* comply with the production plan and respect it.
* foster synergy between departments to meet objectives.
* optimize resource use to ensure maximum efficiency.
provide, assure, and maintain brpms tools.
* follow brpms tools and deployment in their areas, promoting a lean culture with their teams.
budget & safety
* manage the budget and seek resource efficiency.
* distribute direct labor manpower across areas respecting line balance.
* oversee overtime management and usage.
* manage tool crib expenses according to budget.
* follow the scrap procedure.
* adhere to brp values and behaviors.
* ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for safety topics.
* enforce quality brp policy.
cfc area
* maintain today's productivity during ramp-up and improve it to establish one of the composite fabrication centers within brp.
* support operations across molding, secondary operations, retrofit, logistics, maintenance, quality, planning, and cec teams.
* manage day-to-day molding and secondary operations activities per current work scheme: line planning, setups, production schedule attainment, equipment and piece repair, inventory.
* lead continuous improvement using brpms.
pwc area
* maintain productivity and encourage the team to improve daily. Support the production manager on ramp up planning, odc administration, dl hiring plan, etc.
* develop and maintain networking and communication with all areas that support production to implement company and plant strategies.
* promote problem-solving teamwork and coordination for daily challenges.
* be a key contributor for workshops and npd requirements.
* lead continuous improvement using brpms.
* be a role model in h&s and quality governance.
engines area
* provide positive leadership and full department ownership with clear leadership versus support areas.
* regularly apply continuous improvement tools to solve daily issues.
