What you'll do
ensure the availability of primary packaging for the daily production of the entire plant's production lines. Coordinate timely transitions from primary to alternate packaging when necessary, aiming to minimize the use of alternate cardboard packaging. Report any critical primary or alternate packaging issues promptly to prevent line stoppages. Manage the container forecast to visualize coverage for the upcoming week. Maintain records of packaging inputs and outputs to identify shortages quickly. Process receipts for primary packaging in client portals as applicable. Review daily coverage using inventory files and track critical packaging and transit status. Report any receipt discrepancies with clients. Quote and purchase new packaging as needed. Manage the carton packaging forecast.
what is required
* education: bachelor's degree or engineering
* experience: 2 years
* knowledge and skills: understanding of lean principles, high planning, organizational, and analytical skills. Self-starter capable of developing solutions independently. Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork. Results-driven with high initiative and urgency. Proficient in basic computer software (microsoft office) and web applications.
