we are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented *sales development representative (sdr)* to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for *proactively identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities* through outbound outreach efforts. As the first point of contact with prospective customers, you will play a critical role in generating interest and setting the foundation for future sales success.
*key responsibilities*:
- research and identify key decision-makers within target accounts.
- craft personalized outreach strategies to initiate conversations with potential clients.
- qualify inbound and outbound leads based on company criteria and set up meetings or demos for the sales team.
- maintain detailed and accurate records of prospect interactions and activities within the crm system.
- collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to optimize outreach strategies and messaging.
- meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for outbound activity, qualified leads, and meetings booked.
- provide feedback from prospects and market insights to help refine sales and marketing strategies.
*qualifications*:
- 4+ years of outbound sales, lead generation, or business development experience (saas, tech, or b2b experience is a plus).
- strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to engage and persuade prospects effectively.
- highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- comfortable with crm platforms (e.g., salesforce, hubspot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., outreach, salesloft, apollo).
- self-starter mentality with a strong work ethic, curiosity, and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
- resilient and adaptable; able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
