Davies imaging group
is a dynamic design studio specializing in architectural visualization and immersive 3d environments. We create stunning, photorealistic interiors for clients in architecture, real estate, and interior design. We're looking for a passionate and creative entry-level 3d artist to join our team for a 3-month freelance position, with the potential for a full-time role based on performance.
we are seeking an enthusiastic entry-level 3d artist for a high-volume output position, with at least one year of experience in using primitives to block out architectural spaces in autodesk 3ds max.
key responsibilities
* import reference images into autodesk 3ds max and match the 3d perspective space to the image to guide the creation of architectural interior geometry.
* use primitives in autodesk 3ds max to block out architectural interiors (bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, etc.) to define spatial layouts and geometry for virtual staging.
* manipulate geometry to achieve accurate proportions, scale, and spatial relationships for architectural spaces based on the reference image's perspective.
* hand off completed 3ds max files to senior 3d artists for further refinement and detailing.
* receive refined assets from senior 3d artists and realistically composite rendered images in adobe photoshop to create polished, virtually staged deliverables.
* collaborate with senior artists, designers, and project managers to ensure blockouts and composites meet project specifications and deadlines.

* proficiency in autodesk 3ds max, with a strong understanding of manipulating primitives and matching 3d perspective to reference images to define spatial geometry.
* experience with adobe photoshop for realistic compositing, color correction, and post-production of rendered images.
* strong understanding of architectural design principles, including scale, proportion, and spatial relationships.
* strong attention to detail and a passion for creating clear and functional spatial blockouts and photorealistic composites.
