* own and deliver the operational budget for the whole fc, including safety, productivity, financial planning, labor planning, and operational goals

* set clear goals and expectations for operations and area managers
* measure performance, provide feedback, and hold leaders accountable
* drive creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other lean initiatives to enable their functional area and the site to meet and exceed business plan
* leverage the operations and area managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, and rolling them into improvement plans for the functional area
* share best practices across all departments, shifts and network
* collaborate with support staff (hr, finance, facilities, safety, it and other site leaders/general managers) to secure resources for projects and initiatives
basic qualifications: a completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; english and spanish fluent; 6+ years of direct management experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, or logistics; 6+ years experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and lean methodologies; 6+ years experience with full staffing lifecycle
preferred qualifications: degree in engineering, operations or related technical field; mba or master’s degree preferred; ability to handle changing priorities; interest in long-term career development across multiple buildings; leadership development training; track record of leading operations with 100+ staff; proven ability to develop others into higher leadership roles
