the operations support manager is a key position that provides strategic leadership and direction to a team of employees. This role is responsible for delivering operations support services in collaboration with the operations core team.
* provide vision and guidance to the operations support department, delegating tasks and responsibilities across multiple teams
* conduct thorough performance evaluations, compensation assessments, hiring processes, disciplinary actions, and terminations, while determining staffing needs and managing talent development
* monitor the team's overall performance, ensuring quality, efficiency, and effectiveness, and contribute to resource planning, budget management, and procedure formulation
* support the development of innovative techniques, models, and plans within the area of expertise
* ensure alignment of the operations support infrastructure through focused technologies and processes, promoting operational excellence
* guarantee compliance with government regulations related to retail accounts serviced by evaluating and implementing appropriate control measures and testing protocols
* exercise sound judgement based on analysis of information and in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures in complex and unique situations
