about the role of server:
the ideal candidate will provide excellent food and beverage service to our guests professionally and efficiently, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish.
what you will do:
* present menus, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations.
* serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
* check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
* process payments (cash, card, mobile) and issue receipts.
* follow all health and safety regulations and restaurant standards.
* collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
* upsell menu items and promote daily specials or promotions.
what you bring:
* fluency in spanish and english is required for this position
* a minimum of three (3) years working in a food & beverage role
* two (2) or more years’ experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment is an asset
* ability to operate computer equipment
* knowledge of micros system
* understanding and familiarity with hotel quality and service standards
* highest level of integrity and transparency
* ethical approach to situations
* strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
* problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
* work in a safe, organized, and prudent manner
