Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Strategic Supply Chain Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Management, Strategic Supply Chain Manager role involves directing planning, development, implementation and maintenance of processes & procedures within the organization related to supply chain management.
You will manage and oversee the methods and processes in support of both new and existing products.
What a typical day looks like:
- Participates in the review of vendor and customer contracts by outlining requirements and considerations.
- Review data analysis related materials.
- Participate with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives.
- Direct the activities of supply chain managers and staff and is responsible for planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area.
- Interact regularly with executives, customers and vendors.
- Drive supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain Flex's financial competitiveness.
- Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent English oral and written.
- Advanced functional, technical, people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
- Expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.
- Detail oriented
- Customer facing (internal and external), supplier negotiation, inventory management, results driven
- Nice to haves – planning & material background
- Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of inter-dependencies of such processes at the site.
- Previous customer facing experience is also a plus.
- Project management experience is also a plus.
