:Supports the day to day availability and performance of s SqlServer operational support systems including the ability to troubleshoot and isolate moderate to complex system/application issues for SqlServer based operating systems and hardware.
Proposes and implements complex system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
Manages the configuration of the sqlserver.
Supports the rollout of complex projects that impact SqlServer operational support systems.
Installing, configuring, and testing different produce sets on SqlServer R2, ,,, and Provides 24x7 support on a rotating basis is required and responsible for performing the job in accordance Client vision and values Roles & Responsibilities:• Responsible to support + Sql db servers( to ) and provide oncal support.• Responsible for all operational aspects of Sql Server database systems including performance, integrity and security.
• Plan and execute database migration from Microsoft SQL Server to Postgre• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues and provide advice on improving database performance.• Monitor performance of the database and the database servers; Determine optimal performance parameters for the database server, operating system etc.
and tune as needed.• Carry out periodic maintenance of the database including table extents, indexes etc.
