Hotel assistant director of finance our client, a super luxury resort in mexico requires an experienced assistant director of finance. This position reports to the director of finance. This position oversees all financial and accounting operations of the resort and will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, auditing, and reconciliations. He/she will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial records and compliance with internal policies and regulations
deliver financial reports in a timely manner and excellent quality
ensure compliance with legal and regulatory statements
generate monthly income statements, balance sheets, aging reports, and inventory reports.
coordinate and support the audit process.
responsible of proper supervision, training and personnel administration reporting to position.
overview all taxes related to the property.
must be capable of maintain good relations with the departments within the resort, corporate and owners to promote an effective internal control.
must have fully knowledge about all accounting areas within the resort, f&b cost control and payroll.
ability to prepare annual performance evaluations to colleagues reporting to the position
complete any other assigned task by finance manager or dof.
bachelor ́s degree in accounting or finance
experience: minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel accounting, in a luxury or ultra-luxury property.
spanish speaker preferred
english intermediate - advance
experience with financial reconciliations
knowledge about opera, micros, hyperion, iscala systems.
