under supervision, follows an engineer’s direction in the completion of project related drawings and other technical project activities.
Duties & responsibilities
- work with the engineer to develop and execute production of engineering drawings, engineering change documentation, and data from various engineering calculations as required.
- coordinate work into drafting and complete the initial checking review of finished documents.
- responsible for ensuring that pertinent john crane technical standards and procedures are followed in the completion of the project cycle.
- additional duties as assigned.

The individual
- bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology
- 3 to 5 years of related experience at designing pressure vessels, heat exchangers and piping systems, must have experience in a manufacturing environment.
- must have a good math background that must include trig and calculus
- must have the ability to work independently or in coordination with an engineer in development of designs or adaptations requiring advanced specialized knowledge
