Listed on London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index.ResponsibilitiesJob purpose:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to support the implementation of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP system at our Greenville, SC site.
This is a temporary position for approximately 6 to 9 months, focused on preparing and validating standard costing structures within the new ERP environment.Main responsibilities:Essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:Collaborate with the Finance Controller and cross-functional teams to define and implement standard costing methodologies in D365.Analyze existing cost structures and ensure accurate migration and alignment with the new ERP system.Support the setup of cost elements, cost centers, and product costing models in D365.Validate cost data and perform variance analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness.Assist in testing and validating costing functionalities during ERP system configuration and go-live phases.Provide financial insights and reporting to support decision-making during the implementation.Document costing processes, assumptions, and configuration decisions for future reference.QualificationsMorgan Advanced Materials is an EEO/AA/M/W/D/V EmployerInd-1Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
