position summary
this position is responsible for managing efficiently the onsite and external warehouses and ensuring the control, guarding, accuracy and correct flow of the materials, complying with the standards of safety, quality and productivity.
also coordinate with different areas (planning, purchasing, customs and production) to ensure the material is on time and cleared to bill according to the production plan.
key responsibilities
* work extensively with planning, shipping, production, and customs to maximize profits and customer satisfaction.
* management of receiving, warehouse, distribution and shipping of materials.
* ensure the correct flow of the material from its receipt in accordance with established procedures.
* comply with delivery of materials to production area, and delivery of finished product to client.
* shortage material following from receiving.
* inventory accuracy as primary target, as well inventory discrepancies solving.
* material supply on time for the production line.
* accurate and timely billing of transportation orders according to company and customer requirements, including pending orders, transportation charges and rates.
* process shipping logs at the end of the day and balance against daily shipments.
* establish multidisciplinary teams for continuous improvement.
* implement quality systems and environmental management implemented in the company.
* oversee the storage, control and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements.
* materials supervisors on site and external warehouses will report to this role.
* monitor and ensure close transactions on time.
* comply with legal, quality system, safety, health and environmental requirements.
* attend the training schedule.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or related field (master’s preferred).
* able to communicate in english (oral and written).
* hands-on leadership style.
* focus on results and continuous improvement.
* apics certification is preferred.
* 5 years of experience as a warehouse and/or materials manager.

* strategic and visionary leadership with a focus on long-term value creation.
* exceptional negotiation and influencing skills at senior stakeholder level.
* high analytical capability and strong decision-making under ambiguity.
* continuous improvement mindset with strong sense of ownership and accountability.
