develop and implement compliance policies
* design, update, and ensure the implementation of policies and procedures that guarantee legal and regulatory compliance across all countries in the region.
monitor regulatory compliance
* oversee regional operations to ensure adherence to local laws, international regulations, and corporate standards (e.g., anti-corruption, data privacy, antitrust).
manage legal and compliance risks
* identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks in collaboration with departments such as legal, finance, hr, and operations.
conduct internal investigations
* lead or coordinate investigations into potential violations of internal policies or laws, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions.
deliver training and awareness programs
* develop and deliver training sessions on ethics, compliance, and corporate policies to employees at all levels.
perform audits and reviews
* plan and execute internal compliance audits and follow up on findings and action plans.
reporting and communication
* report to senior management and the global compliance function on the compliance status in the region, including incidents, key metrics, and improvements.
support in transactions and contracts
* review and validate contract clauses from a compliance perspective, especially in agreements with third parties, suppliers, and strategic partners.
third-party compliance management
* evaluate and monitor the compliance of suppliers, contractors, and business partners through due diligence and ongoing oversight.
adapt to regulatory changes
* stay informed about legal developments in the region and adjust internal policies and processes accordingly
