this leader will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, wage and benefit administration, training and development, regulatory compliance, policy administration, labor/union relations, work life balance improvement, partner engagement and communications.what you'll do:recruit, hire and onboard new hirespolicy administrationperformance managementpartner (employee) relationslabor relations including participating in contract negotiationsadminister internal job transfers at the plantpartner traininghr process improvementcollaborate with the leadership team to lead partners and collaborate cross-functionallypartner with the plant manager to develop leaderswork with the leadership team to implement strategic workforce planning initiativescommunicate hr policies, compensation, benefits, and other hr initiatives to partnerscollaborate with hr leadership team in order to improve standard policies, processes, and the overall partner experiencemaintain partner and position information in hr systems including workday and kronoslead customer audits including code of conduct, sociability, and sustainabilitywhat you need to succeed:bachelor's in business, hr or related field; equivalent experience will be considered4+ years of experience in human resources and/or leadership is preferredspanish and english fluency requiredlabor relations experience preferredproven technical expertise in human resources practices and procedures, employment law and labor lawstrong presentation skills, ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations in an engaging mannerability to work both independently and as a part of a larger teamdemonstrated ability to service customersability to solve problemswell-developed analytical skillsforward thinkingability to evaluate the financial impact of various hr & labor practicesability to navigate microsoft office & aptitude to become an expert in workday, kronos, and other internal software systemsability to travel approximately 1-2x/year to attend internal leadership training#j-18808-ljbffr
