come and join the passive safety systems division as an it security operations analyst at multiple sites (la laguna, chihuahua, and reynosa)!
responsibilities
1. define, implement, assess, and maintain controls required to protect web applications in line with security requirements.
2. support cloud-based web security services such as cloud access security broker, antivirus, and advanced threat protection infrastructure.
3. contribute to the further development of the it security strategy regarding perimeter & network security.
4. assist with the creation, maintenance, and delivery of cybersecurity awareness training for colleagues.
5. use advanced analytics tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.
6. conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and root cause analysis of security incidents.
7. have a good understanding of at least one cloud provider like aws, azure, etc.
8. experience with various sast and dast tools and the ability to integrate them with the devops pipeline.
9. knowledge of zscaler (zia) and waf/ddos is a plus.
required skills and experience
1. expertise in cybersecurity, it technologies, and architectures.
2. process design and optimization skills.
3. leadership experience.
4. bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or engineering.
5. solid knowledge of it security, infrastructure, including networking and server management.
6. financial background including budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management.
7. critical thinking, communication, and research skills.
8. minimum of 4 years of professional experience preferred.
9. proficiency in english speaking and writing.
10. experience with vendor management.
11. experience supporting it delivery teams, support teams, and global it workstreams.
12. experience working with external business partners and vendors.
